    • What is Greenfingers?
    Greenfingers is the definitive resource site for the UK gardener. Here you will find everything you need to make gardening easier and more enjoyable.

    How do I get around the site?
    All of the main sections are previewed on the home page. You can either click through to these sections from here - by clicking on the appropriate 'GO' button or text - or use the quick and easy pull-down 'Site Menu' at the top of the page and selecting one of the options from anywhere in the site.

    How do I find something specific?
    A primary 'search' function appears just to the right of the Site Menu. Simply enter a word or two that relates to your query and click 'go' to view a list of matching results.

    There are additional search functions throughout the site, most notably dedicated search tools for past articles in 'Fresh Ideas' and the complete collection of step-by-step workshops in 'Helping Hands.'

    There are also specialised databases in 'Ask George' that will help you find anything from the name of a plant to the location of a nearby Nursery or gardens that are open to the public.

    How do I view the News?
    A list of headlines of the latest gardening news stories appears at the bottom of the Home Page - you may have to drag the scroll bar at the right hand side of your Internet browser or use the 'Page Down' key on your keyboard to see it. News also appears on the Garden Club page, where it can be personalised so that you only see headlines of stories on topics you're interested in.
