are Nanus type gladioli which produce stunning, large white flowers along short stems amongst thin, green, strap-like leaves. A magnificent addition to any garden, they are fabulous border or bedding plants, they are also ideal for containers and make great cut flower arrangements.
Type: Half hardy
Flowering period: Jul-Sep
Height: 60 cm
Gladioli like a well-drained, moisture retentive soil in full sun and protected from strong winds. Gladioli need water during the growing period and mulching with compost will help conserve moisture. In very cold areas, lift after flowering and store frost free over winter. Plant some every few weeks from April to June to ensure flowers from summer to autumn.
In autumn, allow the foliage to die back naturally before lifting the corms and cleaning them of soil and any remaining stems. Dry them in a well ventilated position for 2 weeks before storing them in a frost-free location for the winter.
