This plant is a deciduous herb. The tiny flowers, which are sometimes white, are borne in dense clusters. The leaves are toothed and crinkled. Like all mints, this is invasive and must be contained.

It's shape is described as spreading. It grows to a height of 1m and 1m in width. It has oval foliage that is grey/green. It produces flowers during mid summer that are tubular in shape and pink in colour.
