We were looking for something different to cover a plane wall and it does the job.

Q & A

Q: What is the height of the tap from the floor?
A: The tap sits approximately 30cm off the ground.
Q: Can you connect Helena Water Butt amphora to a downpipe and use the downpipe for overflow as in a Water Sava?if so, how? or where?
A: The idea is you can position everything to suit your downpipe configurations, there is no fixed entry point, providing total flexibility at site level. The instructions have been added to our product page which may provide a better explanation
Q: Will water, stored below the tap ever get used or will it contaminate new water?
A: The water at the bottom will not contaminate new water , however, if this is a concern to you there is a drainage point at the bottom of the the water butt to allow you to drain the water butt completely.

*****
Is it necessary to drain plastic butts during extremely cold/frosty weather ?
Thank you.
A: You should drain at least a quarter of the tank, and if we are experiencing freezing conditions, possibly even half. This is to allow for expansion if the water in the butt freezes.
