Superb item - great value and service Sohrab Rustomjee on 5 June 2020

Having considered a number of other water butts i was a little anxious about whether this was really going to look as good as it does given its competitive price. But i have to say that i am very impressed. It looks good, does the job and is superb value for money. i could have paid 3 times the price and ended up with something uglier. So very happy. Service from Greenfingers was superb.

Attractive and helpful addition to the garden Ann on 10 May 2020

I now have three of these beehive water butts, and am very pleased with them. They are not only good for saving water, but they also look attractive. The water butt was delivered extremely quickly - particularly impressive in these difficult Covid19 times. Although the tap leaked slightly at first, the simple solution was to put a washer on the tap inside the butt, and then to tighten the nut holding the tap. Make sure the butt is empty of course! And get someone to hold the tap on the outside while you tighten the nut (with the washer) on the inside. For good measure I also put one or two globules of jointing compound on the tap but that might not have been necessary. I haven't bothered to try to link up the three water butts, as they are on a slope and getting the levels right would be too much hassle. So I just linked up one butt to the nearby drainpipe, and when that is full I empty it (using watering cans) into the other two butts, which doesn't take long to do. A very satisfied customer.

Looks the Part Zena on 9 March 2020

I love terracotta pots, but have lost a fair number over the years due to hard frosts. The style of my garden is Mediterranean-ish, and I longed to have a giant terracotta urn shaped pot, like you see in the magazines. That notion quickly evaporated when I realised what they cost!! I could never justify spending hundreds of pounds on a pot that might crumble in the cold Scottish winters. When I spotted this faux-terracotta water butt, I figured it was worth a shot. Im so glad I did. With the tap facing the back, the pot looks terrific at the bottom of my small garden. I hope to plant a big cordyline in it, and Ive bought a further two large matching pots to place nearby... maybe with azaleas in them. These pots all add to the look I am after in my garden, without the vast price tags. Im very chuffed.

Good-looking and practical Pippa on 26 February 2020

A very nice-looking alternative to the usual obviously plastic butts. I connected mine with a diverter kit from Screw fix and made the holes for that and a connection to two more butts by making holes with a heated-up piece of 22 mm copper pipe. Long pieces of hose connecting the butts acts as a siphon between them and the diverter automatically channels any overflow once they are all full back into the down-pipe. I like the look so much, have bought two.
