Started off thinking oh no
but with a little help from the wife it was easy put together and now sits proudly in the garden.
It has even been adorn with bunting!!!
Really pleased. Looks great on decking and metal roof seems to capture heat for the evening.
Took me about a day to unpack and erect, although I was on my own. Would recommend two people and definitely an electric screwdriver.
Finished product looks great and is sturdy.
Had problems with one piece of roof which was badly scratched, but customer service stepped in and a new one arrived within days.
Overall, very pleased with product and customer service.
Great quality, great price, looks brilliant!
Flat packed but very good quality and easy to put together on my own armed with just a cordless screwdriver and mallet for some 'coaxing' the roof pannels into place.
Take your time putting it together and anjoy the project.
I didn't have to make any adjustments, just follwed the clear and easy instructions.
The result is a very beautiful arbour. I would sugest painting it with top quality paint for that professional country garden finish.
Terrific product...a couple of things to note though
The Arbour arrived flat pack style, in a solid package, on a bespoke pallet boxed in with OSB, this requires a little work to break down into manageable sizes for disposal. The construction instructions were pretty good, a couple of panels needed some coaxing to get them into position and a little bit of fettling was required to ensure everything was square and plumb. Well within the capabilities of anyone that can wield a cordless driver and a carpenters saw. Take your time with the roof, do wear robust gloves as the edges are sharp. My brother and I had in unpacked and built in about 1.75 hours. The protective film coating on the roof (for transport) has proved a little difficult to remove. The addition of a little solar panel and light system completed our installation. We chose not to paint beforehand and will probably use an oil finish. Only one company had a slightly lower price but much longer delivery. Great product at a great price!
Arbour arrived in good time. Assembly was fairly easy and took approximately four hours with a welcome tea break half way through. Thank you Gteenfingers.
Excellent product, great value
Arbour arrived on time, superbly made - I constructed it myself the next day, with no real problems.Painted it forest mushroom, and it is admired by all and referred to as 'our upturned boat.'
Had to modify the seat lid to get it to fit correctly. Some protruding staples. Roof brackets need fitting carefully to stop them fouling roof metalwork. Excellent service, delivery & well packaged on pallet. So overall very pleased. Would recommend this product. Good comms from delivery company.
A good quality product which came very safely flat packed, it was easy to put together with the help of my wife to hold the parts being screwed together. There were no broken or missing parts. It is exactly what I wanted having looked around for some time and I look forward to using it.
Great product - shame about delivery
the product itself is a solid wooden seat, well built and easy to put together (for 2 people). The only thing that marred this was the delivery service. Having spoken to the office to confirm that a signature was not required I received a call at work to say the delivery had arrived and they needed a signature. Luckily my son was home to do this, however they refused to lift the package to the side of my path and left it blocking both my access and my neighbours. My son had to do this on his own because the two men delivering it were 'not allowed to lift anything'.
Looks good but poor quality control
This took a while to arrive as it was supposedly made to order. On unpacking 4 out of the 9 panels were very poor, huge pieces missing, corners splintered off ( and I mean a 9" section off the front upright so very noticeable) tongue and groove broken and the side support was cracked almost all the way through. New parts were sent and wood does splinter but good quality control should have spotted these quite serious and very obvious defects at the point of manufacture. There were also some long screws missing, annoying but it happens. Altogether quite a hassle to simply get a seat that was the acceptable standard that should have arrived in the first place.
