Well they did a good job.
Well I had decided to reorganise my front garden, my. Then the dirty privet hedge was to come out and a new hedge to go in. I bought the loppers knowing that I would not struggle to cut their large branches down even though I am ill. So I did a bit at a time, now it's done and I can start the other side it will look bare I'm sure until the new is planted & starts to really take off. But one thing is sure the loppers cut my task down by more than half. I am so very pleased I bought them they made light work of the thick branches. And I can rest awhile until I feel ready to start the next task. & the service was second to none. Thank you for your assistance.
The loppers were first used this week, when my boyfriend seriously pruned the laurel bush. I could hear cries of "what a great gadget" and similar. When I saw the thickness of some of the branches he was able to cut through, I was seriously impressed. I think the ratchet mechanism was especially appreciated. The only criticism I have is that I now have a huge pile of laurel lying on my patio, which I have to cut into smaller pieces to go in the bins and the compost. I think he got a bit carried away, because he was enjoying himself too much!
Yet again, Greenfingers has given excellent qualty and service. Thankyou.
Bought them because the price was right and they looked an excellent product in the photo. When they came I was very pleased with them but haven't used them yet. I have purchased many loppers in my lifetime and I am sure by their appearance and feel they will perform above my expectations.
was doubtful, but after 10 mins use, converted.like knife and butter,on the heavy side but ok
Great quality, ratchet system great to use, easier on my arms when using at work. They are quite heavy but I've got used to the weight.
Spotted this on offer - been looking for some time for an elderly straight anvil type. Tried it out today - cuts well, only snag is the need to get a wide spread on the handles in order to operate the ratchet cutter. Could be a problem if trying to reach branches inside a tree or shrub. That said, the cutting is easy because of the ratchet action, and seems to cope with strong branches like cotoneaster.
regular lubrication will probably be beneficial.
A good brand and seems to be well made. Time will tell, but no regrets.
Bought in sale and must admit at this price its amazing value.Cuts through 50 mm branches with ease thanks to good design and build quality. As with all garden products if you look after it it will last you years. Fully extended it is not light but still easily manageable, just consider your working position.
Use to using the ordinary ones took a little getting used to but all said and done what a great piece of kit.
Just want to say l was very pleased with these Garden Loppers and would recommend them.
