This cute Smart Garden Metal Scroll Owl Solar Light is beautifully detailed with a scroll-effect design. It makes a terrific garden ornament by day and looks fabulous at night with its scroll pattern effect. Powered by an integral solar panel, it charges in direct sunlight and the bright white LED automatically comes on at dusk and switches off at dawn. Use it to highlight a darkened area or perhaps accentuate a feature at night.

Made from durable metal with a bronze effect finish, it makes a wonderful addition to your garden or patio and you could even make it a unique centrepiece on your tabletop when dining al fresco. A practical and fun solar light that also makes a great gift for someone.

Looks really good in my garden.
Well-made, but needs lots of sunlight

This item was very well made, and looks gorgeous. But like all such solar-powered lights, has a rather small and inefficient solar panel. If placed in direct sunlight all day in, for example, the south of France, it would be fine, but in typical English weather, especially if cloudy, the light goes out very quickly. This is common amongst all such items I have seen, this is no worse than any others. It does have a switch which apparently, and unusually, turns off the light, but allows the battery to keep being charged, so it could be operated thus during the week, say, in order to provide a long display at the weekend maybe.
