Really pleased, well packaged and quickly delivered. Have used these Gro bags on previous years and have always had successful crops from them.

What a great idea!

I'd been looking for containers to grow some additional potatoes in and then stumbled over this great idea - a grow bag for potatoes! I've just plopped them down on by the raised beds and they'll happily sit there 'til harvesting - I can't vouch for the growing properties yet though - my seed potatoes are still chitting! Watch this space...!

I wish I'd found this site first! Prompt delivery with excellent prices, just what the budding gardener with no garden or own transport needs. :-) Now hoping to have a bounty of vegetables.

A good buy
I have started using the compost in my potato grow sacks. It is not possible to give an informed opinion because I will not see the resultant crops for three months. I was mildly surprised to find that each bag came in its own cardboard container. In previous years, from other suppliers, they have arrived on a pallet with no extra covering.

'Organic' but NOT peat free!!
lynsgarden
I should have done more research online before I bought this, but the power of advertising and a reduced price got me! As this is labelled 'organic' I expected that it would be peat free too. It isn't, it is clearly marked on the BACK of the pack as containing 40-70% peat. I don't know what it's performance will be but I won't buy it again, there are other good peat free composts around.
