Product in very poor condition

The set is made of nice chunky quality feeling wood and the design is good but it's totally let down by the condition you receive it in. It looks like wood is treated after it's packaged so you get loads of marks and stains that will never come out. Imagine treating wood but totally missing the sections that the multiple plastic fasteners cover. Leaves big dis-colourd gaps everywhere and there are groves and indentations from the packaging too. Zest4Leisure aren't interested in dealing with complaints like this either. They're happy to sell products in this condition.
Greenfingers Says
Thank you for your review. Timber is a natural product, and splits and cracks will appear, this is due to changes in temperature and humidity causing the timber to expand and contract. This is to be expected and is not a cause for concern;it will not affect the strength or durability of the product. If you are concerned about a split or crack if a 2p piece will fit easily into it then we would ask you to email a photo so it can be investigated . Pressure Treated products should not have any further treatments applied for the first 6 months after purchase.Łhe green spotting you may see on the surface of the product is caused by salt leaving the timber during the pressure treatment process. It will fade over time and does not affect the durability of the product Kind Regards Greenfingers Customer Care
