ThermoQuick Express Composter 600 Litres
ThermoQuick Express Composter - 600 Litres
Product Code: LS6957D
DescriptionThermoQuick® Express Composter lets you dispose of your household and garden waste simply and cleanly, while being greenhouse friendly too. Add grass clippings, leaves and kitchen vegetable cuttings to your composter, while at the same time creating a natural fertilizer that your garden will thank you for! Your plants will tend to grow faster and are more proliferous when they are grown in nutrient-rich soil.
Manufactured from 100% recycled superior quality copolymer plastics, this composter can withstand extreme temperatures without cracking. It has a 5 panel easy-lock assembly which takes just a few minutes and has maximum composting volume.
ThermoQuick® has special locking corner clips that aid in stability to keep the side panels tight as the composter fills out. Multiple, well-placed air vents guarantee optimal composting conditions while the dark green/grey colour also absorbs the suns rays year round to keep compost active.
Access your compost is easy due to the 4 removable access doors; this allows removal of fresh compost whichever side you choose. The lid specifically includes hinges with special clips that allow it to remain upright for easy loading, and stay shut to ensure strong winds or animals canít get in.

Not convinced posted on 25/03/2011 by
Size and design seems great, but I'm not conviced its going to last long. It seems to be of a not very robust construction. The way the sections join together seems flimsy and there is no way to pin it to the ground. If its not at least half full it might blow away with a strong wind. A galvanised metal copy with a method for pinning it to the ground would be better. Time will tell.
Hinge problem quickly solved posted on 30/11/2010 by Chuck
I've now bought a second unit. Assembling the first, in summer, was fine. With the second, a hinge clip broke when I tried to fit it, possibly because of the cold weather. Greenfingers sent a free replacement in no time, and I now warm the clips up before fitting, which makes them go on more easily too.

Wonderful, really pleased with this item! posted on 11/05/2010 by Suzie
Really deep, takes up the same floor space as my old one (which is only half the capacity). Was really easy to assemble. Great access panels for removing lovely deep rich compost!

It is just what I wanted. Really delighted. The only point I would make is it needs to be wedged at the bottom with bricks or similar as it tends to be moved by the wind.

A good practical bin Solid once assembled Much easier to assemble with two people though Couldnt really do it solo
It does the job well posted on 09/06/2010 by Dermot
Very well designed. Mine had a split along the top rim which didn't affect the final assembly. Closer inspection through the plastic wrapping would have detected this. I also made a wooden prop to hold the lid open and a wire peg to hold it closed.
