It takes two people to assemble, not due to weight but because it's quite fiddly until assembled and you need to tighten everything up properly after it's been put together assembly.
We found that looking at the picture on the box was much better than trying to read the instructions. Throw them in the bin and just let the force be with you.
It's a good item for the money and given the weather here at least you can protect it from rust with outdoor metal paint.
Very pleased with this just what I wanted for a small garden
Having put together a different etagere first, we assumed this one would be harder but it really wasn’t difficult. The trick really is to follow the diagrams carefully and have everything sorted into relevant piles. It looks really good and genuinely transforms a rather dingy corner of our basement garden. I’d happily recommend it and Greenfingers.
Robust and easy to assemble
This has made my formerly boring corner of garden look very classy. I had no problem assembling it by myself, although an extra pair of hands is obviously the ideal. Instructions very easy to follow
Top value for money. Takes a good hour to make up with everything provided i.e. Instructions, screws and bolts.
Easy to put them together
The instruction was clear and very easy to put them together.
Loved it good value for money
Very happy with it,when arrived thought very light will not be much, had to be put together,my neighbour neighbour did t for me as I am a disabled penshoner.when he returned it to me was pleasantly surprised and happy with it ,now I could put all my plants together in one place, looks great light but very sturdy just the job.
I am delighted with this étagère, the instructions state two people to construct, I am 71, have arthritis in my hands and I managed to construct on my own - so easy and looks great, would certainly recommend.
IF I CAN DO IT ANY ONE CAN!
I was quite hesitant about purchasing this Etagere or as I prefer to call it a Plant Stand. The reason for that were some of the reviews. You see as I live alone (apart from my furry friend a chihuahua) I thought I would never be able to assemble it. Now I am going into my 73rd year, I am disabled, I have Angina, Arthritis, COPD, a bad back.....need I go on? Anyway I bit the bullet they arrived yesterday so today I unpacked one and Ladies and Gentlemen I kid you not I assembled it on my own in "20" minutes. It was Easy Peasy. The second one I did in 9 minutes. So don't be put off. After the 1st one I didn't need the instructions that's how good it is. My specs and a Phillips screw driver and I was away. They are out in my garden with my plants on them and look lovely. Go for it.
Thank you for the amazing review and well done Bridget an inspiration to us all.
