Great value product

Delivered promptly. Sturdy construction. We have stained it inside and out to give added protection and it was easy for my husband to construct. We shall probably secure it to the ground with a couple of stakes as we live in a windy position. The only little 'niggle' is the fastener for the bottom opening section. It doesn't really work - however, it is a small thing and can be easily sorted out. It also needs something to keep the flap up when removing compost. Otherwise Excellent Product.

Looks really good

A bit of a wait to have it delivered as it seemed to be continually out of stock, but Customer Services good at letting me know what was happening. Worth the wait - fairly easy to put together (would suggest an electric screwdriver!), and looks so much better that the black plastic "dalek" bin that I've had for years! Would definitely recommend it.

Well designed product.

The compost bin is well designed and easy to put together although I think it would be quite tricky to do single handed. The two halves of the roof have a small gap between them so I have put some silicone sealant between them to waterproof it. I have also positioned the hook at the bottom of the opening section instead of as suggested in the instructions, to keep it tightly closed. The wood is very soft so I think creosoting is essential. The express delivery I opted for didnít happen - the courierís fault - and Greenfingers refunded the extra charge very quickly and courteously. Good customer service! I would recommend this company.

Not trivial to build but very solid
Ian
It was not trivial to build because although there were scrw holes where the screws started the wood receiving the screws didn't have holes pre-drilled. I bought 2 and they seem very solid.

Very stylish addition to the garden. Very easy to assemble with high quality parts. Access to compost is simple and effective. This item is very solid and good to look at, so good in fact that I've ordered another. Thank you Greenfingers

Sorry but we do not have any promotions linked to this product.

Is it easy to remove the covering for the roof?
It is secured with wood tacks, so you would have to pull them loose with a hammer. It would probably be easier to leave the covering on and just put a new cover over the top of it.
